Please remember that some activities—like the ropes course and concerts—are seasonal, and personal ATVs are not permitted, but local rentals are available.

At Eagles Nest’s Great Camp, enjoy the playground, mini-golf, and summer amphitheater concerts, while the North Pavilion features ball fields, pickleball, and a dog park for your four-legged family members. Back at the house, gather for family dinners on the porch, s’mores around the fire pit, or game nights in the second TV area with a foosball table. Please bring your own sports and recreational equipment, and check the schedule for seasonal events. Some community amenities may be limited by season or special events.



Pet-Friendly Mountain Escape
Bring up to 4 well-behaved dogs to Zion and let them enjoy the mountain air! The Eagles Nest community features a spacious dog park, scenic walking trails, and plenty of outdoor space to roam. With pet-friendly amenities and policies (a nightly pet fee applies; dogs only), your entire pack can relax together. Please remember to observe local rules and leash requirements on trails.

Experience Eagles Nest’s on-site winery, open Thursday through Sunday for wine tastings and light bites, with day passes available for guests over 16. Property Access
- While staying at Zion, you have access to most amenities inside of Eagles Nest, including:
- Great Camp: BBQ Pavilion, Amphitheater (location of summer concerts from May to the end of November), The Great Lawn, Playground, Hiking Trails, Ropes Course and Climbing Tower (seasonal), Mini-Golf Course, 24/7 General Store
- North Pavilion: Ball Field, Sportsmans Lodge (unlocked portion only), Sports Court (Basketball and Pickleball), Dog Park, Walking Trail, Sportsman's Grille (Wed-Sun. Hours vary), Fire Pit, Woodland Trail System (ATV Trails, Hiking, Biking)
- Camp (BYO Equipment): Tennis Courts, Pickleball, Disc Golf, Archery (Restrooms and Pavilion coming soon!)
- Vineyard: Food and wine served. Eagles Nest Winery day passes are available onsite for $25.00 each. HOURS: Thur & Fri 4p-10p. Sat & Sun 1p-7p. All visitors at the winery must be 16 years or older. This is strictly enforced.
- Guests do not have access to the locked off portion of the Sportsman's Lodge, the Fitness Center, or the Wine & Cigar Bar (member use only).
- In the event of a wedding or other private party, guests are not allowed in or near the Sportsmans Lodge.
- Guests are not allowed to bring their own ATVs. For information about ATV rentals, visit: offroadadventuresnc
Policies and Rules
- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectful.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- Children allowed.
- No events allowed.
- Pets: This home allows up to 4 mature, well-trained dogs with an additional pet rent of $25 per pet per night plus tax. Pets other than dogs are not permitted.
Fees and Payments
- All stays at Eagles Nest homes have an additional amenity fee.
- Eagles Nest Winery day passes are available onsite for $25.00 each.
- Summer concerts are open to all guests; there may be an admission fee for each person and cash bar for food and drinks.
- Firewood may be purchased at the time of booking, or by calling with a week's notice. Two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a firestarter for $25 plus tax.
- All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
Utilities and Amenities Access
- All Eagles Nest homes have internet, but some areas of travel may not have cell reception.
- There is a starter set of paper products: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. These supplies are for one night, or maybe two.
- Hair dryers are provided. Towels and linens will be provided.
- Guests are responsible for supplying their own recreational equipment (basketballs, soccer balls, tennis equipment, etc.).
Safety and Emergency Information
- 4WD/AWD and/or chains are recommended during winter (Nov-March). Travelers visiting during winter should come prepared with AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.
- Eagles Nest is an up and coming community, with construction currently occurring in several neighborhoods. Construction noises may be heard 7am-7pm Monday through Saturday.
- Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent.
Cancellation Policy
- Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival receive a refund of the deposit.
- Bookings canceled between 31-59 days before arrival receive a refund of half of the deposit.
- Bookings canceled within 30 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest.
- All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
Additional Notes
- The North Pavilion hosts several summer parties, including a Fourth of July celebration and concerts, which guests may attend. If there is a wedding or other private party, guests are not allowed in or near the Sportsmans Lodge.
